Hi! We’re Amy and Tim. Thanks so much for taking the time to read our letter. We hope it will give you some insight into who we are and why we’d love to grow our family through adoption. We have been together for 12 years and married for 5 years. We both have extremely big hearts, share lots of laughs, and believe in the importance of family. As an Aunt and Uncle to 2 nieces and 1 nephew, we take a very active role in Hannah, Stella and baby Eric’s lives. It’s given us lots of first-hand experience with the joys and the challenges that comes with raising children. From building sand castles to reading them their bedtime story, we appreciate every moment we share with them. We are really excited to share our lives with a child of our own. We can’t wait to take him or her to the park across the street from our home, go to museums, and explore the world. As a teacher, Tim has the summers free to spend with a child, probably teaching him or her how to play baseball. And Amy’s company is extremely family-friendly with flexible hours which allow her to put the baby first. We know that with our sense of humor and our remarkable family support we can provide a happy and joyous home for a child.
