We met six years ago in Greenwich Village, New York. And we got married two years later. We live near a nice big park in a neighborhood considered one of the most culturally diverse in the country. We are surrounded by good schools and working class families with lots of children. We can’t have children but long to be parents. We have decided that an open adoption is best for everybody involved - you, the baby and us. We are happy to share pictures and provide you with updates. Jon works full-time as a newspaper editor. He is 39 years old and grew up in a small town where his parents still live. He can’t wait to be a father! He’s a voracious reader and wrote a book about history. Valerie is 42 years old. She works part-time and looks forward to being a stay-at-home mom. We both grew up with great role models. Both our parents are still together, and we regularly attend get-togethers – reunions, BBQs, kids’ birthday parties. Both our parents live within a few hours’ drive, and look forward to many visits with the new addition to our family. Valerie has extended family in France who we see often. Jon has extended family in Alabama and Georgia. Our child can look forward to lots of traveling and lots of love. Thank you again for taking the time to get to know us.
