Hello, our names are Christopher and Lisa.  We would like to thank you for considering us as adoptive parents.  We are excited about building our family through adoption because we know firsthand what a wonderful experience adoption is.  Christopher is the youngest of 3 adopted siblings and one of his sisters also adopted both of her children, who are now 5 and 8 and live nearby.  He grew up in a very close and supportive family and he will always look back on his childhood with the fondest memories.  He is grateful for the sacrifice his birthmother made and realizes that her decision was based out of love for him and her desire to provide him with the best life possible. 

We are happily married and live with our two yellow labs in a beautiful large home complete with a white picket fence.  Christopher is the father of two daughters from a previous relationship and loves being a Dad.  Our dream is to become parents together and we know adoption will help us to achieve that goal.  We love children and together we have 8 nieces and nephews.  We really enjoy spending time with them and go to their sporting and school events often.  

We believe strongly in Open Adoption and Christopher is familiar with all of the emotional effects of adoption.  He recently connected with his birthmother and is beginning to form a loving relationship with her.  We know how important it is for a child to have a strong sense of identity and will ensure the child knows all of the details surrounding their birth.
