Our names are John & Vicki. We have a loving marriage and a strong partnership, especially as it relates to parenting our son Connor.

John is an engineer and Vicki is in public relations. We feel lucky to have work that we enjoy and that gives us flexibility for lots of quality time.

We love the outdoors, especially eekends at the beach, where we enjoy biking, boating, fishing, swimming and boogie boarding. Even our dog - a Labrador Retriever named Mick - loves the sand and water!

We love to travel and especially like sampling the local cuisine wherever we are.

Together, we serve on the marriage preparation ministry at our Church. Vicki is on the PTA at Connor's school and John is a Cub Scout den leader.

Connor enjoys lacrosse, Tae Kwon Do, Chess and basketball. Together, John and Connor take archery lessons and Vicki and Connor take piano lessons.

We love to cook and entertain. We are blessed with a wide circle of friends, neighbors and extended family, with whom we enjoy spending time. Our family and friends are so important to us and we instill that same value in Connor.

Our home is filled with love and laughter, and we want to share this with another child. We have many family members and friends who have grown thier families through open adoption, which we see as a wonderful way for parents to let a child know how much they are loved throught his or her life. We are committed to a yearly visit and to sharing photos and letters at least two times a year.
