Dear Birthparents, We are a happily married and outgoing couple who are very excited about adopting a child. We have an abundance of love and compassion to provide for a child. We know adoption is a selfless decision and we admire your courage and good heart. We have been together for a long time. We live in a quiet neighborhood about 30 minutes from New York . We’ve been living in our home for 8 years. It’s where we bring our families together for the holidays. We also have several BBQ’s with friends and family throughout the year where the kids love to run through the sprinklers, blow bubbles or just play hide and seek. As a family, we love to be together. We always have fun, no matter the activity. We enjoy traveling to new places such as Hawaii, Aruba and Europe and can’t wait to continue this with the baby. We also love watching and playing sports, taking day trips, going out to dinner with friends or staying at home and watching a good movie. We have a large group of family and friends. We have nephews, nieces and Godchildren that we spend time with. The kids enjoy spending time with us because they bring out the child in us and make us laugh and act silly. You’ll always find us playing games with the kids or just being their jungle gym. Some of our fondest memories with them are vacationing in the bahamas, fishing, apple picking and cutting down Christmas trees. Most of our families live within 5 miles. Both of our families and friends are very supportive and excited that we are pursuing adoption and can’t wait to have a new child to love. We know that we can always count on them for support. Dorothy • Graphic Designer and works 10 minutes from home. • Has two older brothers and her parents live next door. • Loves singing in the church choir and listening to her iPod. • Enjoys cooking & baking. • Great organizational and redecorating skills around the house. • Collects Disney movies and Barbie dolls. Dorothy is a loving wife with a gentle heart and one day will make a wonderful nurturing mother. After the baby is born, Dorothy will be staying home and working part time. Both grandparents have volunteered to help care for the baby on the days she is working. Martin • Structural/Bridge Engineer and works 20 minutes from home. • Has a younger brother and sister and parents living nearby. • Loves to play & watch sports (football, soccer, golf & fishing.) • Handy around the house, projects include bathroom, kitchen, landscaping, recreation room w/pool & ping pong table. • Has a collection of over 2,000 Matchbox & Hot Wheel cars. Martin is an easy going, fun-loving man who is always kind and helpful towards others. Once the baby is born, Martin will be taking some time off from work to bond with the baby. He’ll make an excellent hands-on dad who loves to be involved with everything. We want to be parents more than anything in the world. If you choose us, we promise to raise your child with all the love a family could possibly offer. We are comfortable with open adoption and keeping in touch throughout the years.
