Dear Birthparents,

Thank you for choosing to read our letter and considering an adoption plan for your baby.  Our thoughts are with you while you make this decision. We wish you all the best and we thank you for your strength, love, and for considering us to parent your child.

We are Laurie & Bill and we believe that your choice for an open adoption plan for your child is a selfless, brave and loving decision.  We have been happily married for 7 years, been a couple for 13 years. We have always dreamed of having a family and being first time parents.  We are ecstatic about giving a child the experiences, joys and support of a large, extended family; as well as loving family friends. We believe the child should know their adoption story and stay in contact with their birth family.

We have one “furry” friend, our yellow lab Dakota.  Dakota’s a favorite among the children in our family and neighborhood children.  She loves to have kids around to play with.

We are excited to expand our family and to hear the little pitter patter of a little one around our house.

A child placed with us will grow up with lots of love, laughter and lots of fun and close-knit family memories.

Laurie is family-orientated, a great listener, detail-orientated and kind-hearted.  She is a Customer Service Rep, for a worldwide company and has been there for 9 years.  Her hobbies include relaxing at the beach, reading, spending time with her nieces and nephew and gardening. She looks forward to the joys of parenting a child.

Bill is a good provider, loving and dedicated to his family. These qualities will make him a great father. He works with his dad, in his dad’s auto body and mechanical shop and has been there since before he graduated from high school.  His hobbies include riding dirt bikes, boating and spending time with family.
