Hello!

We are Chris and Colleen and this is our son Thomas. Thomas was adopted through the open adoption program in 2004 and we are so happy to be considered again to build our family through adoption.

About us

• We have been married for over 10 years.
• Chris is a psychologist and Colleen is an RN/editor whose current job allows for the flexibility to work from home when needed.
• We’ll both take time off from work after the baby is born.

How we live

• Most weekends, are spent with Me-Mom and P-Pop (Chris’s parents) where we sing happy birthday and blow out candles even if it’s no one’s birthday! Grandma and Grandpa (Colleen’s parents) live at the Jersey shore and we have fun at the beach.
• We enjoy going to the nearby park together where Thomas rides his tricycle, throws pennies in the fountain, and explores the grounds for the perfect stick.
• Our number one priority is creating an environment that is nurturing and calming for Thomas that allows him to grow emotionally and intellectually at his own pace. We look forward to creating the same environment for your child.

Our promise to you

We send Thomas’s birthmother pictures and updates annually. We would cherish a relationship that is more open, if that is what you desire. We can imagine that this is a difficult time for you. It takes courage to think about what is best for your child and to make an adoption plan. If you choose us to be your child’s family, know that he or she will be loved and cherished forever.
