Families Seeking an African-American or African-American Biracial ChildKimberly & Kilian - Family #1258
We have been together for ten years and have been married for four. We met in high school on a class trip. We soon became high school sweethearts, which turned into college sweethearts, and here we are today! We have seen each other through the good times and the hard times and have always been there to support each other. We encourage each other to achieve our dreams, and our biggest dream is to be parents. Our home is in a great neighborhood in a nice and quiet suburb near a lot of parks and trails, very close to great schools, delicious restaurants, only a few blocks away from our church, and there are a lot of families with kids to play with. We’re not too far from the city either and that offers a lot of museums and fun things to do. Kilian is an engineer with a flexible work schedule, and Kimberly will be a stay at home mom. We enjoy being outdoors, riding bikes and going for picnics, as well as big family dinners and game nights with friends. Traveling is what we love to do most together. We love to explore new places and learn about other cultures. We also love hanging out with our adorable beagle who loves kids! Our extended family lives close to us and are thrilled to be very involved in our future child’s life! We are very excited to start our family, and we feel blessed and honored to do so through open adoption. Our child will know they were loved from the very beginning, and that it started with their birthparents. We discussed our desire to adopt early on in our relationship. We have big hearts with a lot of love to give, and we can't wait to share our life with children. We hope our adopted child will be the first of several children, and we do plan to adopt again. If we’re also blessed with biological children, our family will be blended and celebrate each others' unique characteristics and heritage. We promise to provide a home full of love, laughter, and stability to the child we are chosen to raise. It is our dream to have a family. We thank you for making that dream possible for one very special family. We know your decision is very difficult, and that you are making it with a lot of love, courage, and selflessness. Our thoughts and prayers are with you and we wish you the very best.
