Educational Course: Talking to Your Child About Adoption
A Panel of Adoptive Parents & Professionals
The path to effective communication about adoption begins in infancy. Join a panel of adoptive parents and professionals to listen, share, and learn effective ways to communicate with children about the varied facets of adoption including transracial issues and relating to birth siblings. This is a beneficial class for both domestic and international adoptive parents. This meeting will be held at Chesterfield County Midlothian Library at 521 Coalfield Road, Midlothian VA.

25th Anniversary Fundraising Golf Tournament & Banquet Reception
Please join us in celebrating our silver anniversary by participating in a fundraising golf tournament at Springfield Country Club in Springfield, PA. Tee off starts at 1pm with a shot gun start, scramble format. All non-golfers and adoption supporters are invited to join us for cocktails, silent auction, a presentation by Maxine Chalker and a sit-down dinner at the banquet reception following the tournament. Silent auction prizes and hole contest winners will be announced at dinner and a fun time will be had by all. It's been 25 years of building beautiful families, so please support AFTH by golfing in the tournament, sponsoring the tournament/ banquet, attending the banquet and/ or donating a silent auction prize so that we can continue to build families for the next 25 years!
