India Adoption

Program Guidelines

Eligibility

• Applicants who need or have independently received referrals from a preferred child welfare institute in India
• Married couples with at least one spouse of Indian Ethnicity and single women of Indian descent may adopt. 
• Families who have children may adopt, although famlies who do not have children are given first priority.
• Applicants between the ages of 30-55yrs may apply.
• Applicants from anywhere in the US may apply.
• At least one member of a couple must be a U.S. citizen.

Travel Requirements

• Travel is 2-3 weeks
• Families are met at the airport and escorted by English speaking guides.
• Couples may have their own children accompany them when they travel.
