Program Guidelines

Eligibility

• Applicants must reside in the AFTH serving area, of PA, NJ, DE, VA, NY & CT to be eligible for our program.
• Applicants must complete an education course given by Heartbeats.
• Married couples and single men & woman are accepted.
• Additional requirements may vary by your medical professional.
• Intended parents CAN choose selective reduction if multiple embryos implant .
• Families can be from any religious background.

What Are the Risks

• Embryos may not survive the transfer preparation process.
• Pregnancy followed by a live birth is not guaranteed because not all embryos may successfully implant.
• There may be heightened medical risks to the surrogate if multiple embryos implant.
