Mission Statement

Since 1985, as a non-profit organization, the mission of Adoptions From The Heart is to find safe and loving homes for children by providing quality, comprehensive services to adoptive parents, birth parents and children. Educational programs both before adoption placement and throughout the adoptive family's life continue to be an important task for the agency. An integral part of our program is to provide humanitarian aid for orphans left behind and financial help to birth families with children still in their care.

In the placement of children by domestic or foreign adoption, we are committed to placing children with the best family for his/her particular needs.

Our Goals

1. To assist children in finding a permanent adoptive family who understands that child's feelings, and needs to have knowledge about and/or keep in touch with the birth family.

2. To donate humanitarian goods and services to children who are less fortunate.

3. To provide international adoption services to prospective parents that choose this option.

4. To educate the public as to the positive values of adoption as an option and available alternatives within the adoption process.

5. To provide educational programs that will strengthen the family units created by adoption.

6. To promote the economic viability of adoption (versus children raised dependent on the state) to the general public and legislators.

7. To provide counseling and support to all members of the adoption triad.

8. To provide services to birth families in the communities in which they live.
